FORENSIC HYPNOSIS

Forensic (Investigative) Hypnosis is a specific hypnotic protocol used to recover information or refresh recall from an event. Information obtained by this method is useful in during investigation of a crime, and testimony generated by this type hypnosis can be admissible as evidence in criminal and civil court cases, under certain legal circumstances.
In this 2-day course, learn firsthand what it may be like to
be an eyewitness and experience some tricks our minds can
play on us. Through demonstration and participation, learn
the most legally sound sequence to use in such cases, and
how incorporating these simple yet powerful techniques can
enhance your therapy practice.
This workshop is designed to introduce the hypnosis practitioner to:
- Proper inductions, deepeners and ideomotor techniques
- How to protect the admissibility of evidence in a case
- The differences between forensic and therapeutic applications of hypnosis
- The history and status of hypnosis in the legal system
- Victim and witness checklists other documentation
MARK BABINEAUX, J.D., Ph.D is an attorney, mediator, collaborative divorce professional, forensic hypnotist, peak performance coach and quantum focus© coach from Lafayette, Louisiana. He received his original hypnosis education from Infinity School of Hypnosis (now Alpha Motivation Institute) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is Adjunct Professor with Alpha University, is 2009-2010 President of the Louisiana Hypnotherapy Organization, is on the advisory boards of the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, Inc.© and the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, a member of the International Hypnosis Federation, a Lifetime Fellow with the IMDHA, and a delegate to the Council of Professional Hypnosis Organizations. He has a general civil law practice in Lafayette and is the only attorney in Louisiana certified by the IMDHA as a Forensic Hypnotist. His hypnosis practice includes helping individuals and groups overcome destructive habits and fears, deal with pain and stress, and improve beneficial habits
